Evoplay made outstanding performance at SBC Barcelona, received the Industry Innovation of the Year award

Malakachi commented the successful performance the firm made at the tradeshow, their future plans in the north american market, the impact of the iGaming trends for Evoplay, and the award they received.

How was your experience at this edition of the SBC Summit Barcelona?
SBC Barcelona was fantastic. It's top-notch in the business events scene, drawing an incredibly qualified crowd. The growth they've experienced is almost double, if not more.
The standout was definitely the debut of the SBC Leaders event. In its inaugural year, they absolutely nailed it. The organisation was impeccable and the event went highly productive. The gathering was a melting pot of ideas, an arena where professionals came together to share their insights and experiences, and it's now a staple on our calendar, and we're eagerly awaiting the next one.

Can you provide a concise overview of your involvement at the event, highlighting the products that garnered significant public attention, the conferences you actively participated in, and any nominations for awards you received?
I had a great time at the SBC Summit. Attending the event provided our team with a source of inspiration as we had an opportunity to catch up with our partners, meet colleagues from various corners of the globe and forge new contacts. It was also a delight to be a part of a panel discussion on a topic I'm truly passionate about: "Keeping slots dynamic" and share some new trends in the slot world.
Even more gratifying was winning the Industry Innovation of the Year award and securing seven shortlists at the SBC Awards. This achievement holds significant importance for us as it stands as a robust testament to our groundbreaking innovation within the industry and highlights our position at the forefront of redefining standards. If asked to encapsulate Evoplay in a single word, 'innovation' would undoubtedly be the most fitting choice. It defines our essence, fuels our progress, and is deeply ingrained in everything we undertake.
What new opportunities did your company discover within the Spanish market?
Currently, we haven't made our mark in the Spanish market. Our attention has been laser-focused on the burgeoning Latin American market, where we've made significant strides and witnessed exceptional results. We firmly believe in the potential of this region.
Simultaneously, we have our eyes set on the North American market. It's an intriguing region for us, one that we're actively assessing and strategising to tap into. The opportunities are substantial, and we're eager to explore and bring our innovative offerings to this dynamic market.

What are the Spanish or European iGaming market trends, and how do these trends impact Evoplay?
When we talk about the European iGaming market, it's impossible to overlook the profound impact of gamification. Elements such as the Bonus Buy feature, multiplayer mode, and expanding the Bonus Buy into a full-fledged store with diverse bonuses that go beyond just Free Spins are making waves and generating substantial discussions.
One unmistakable global trend that demands attention is the immense frenzy surrounding sports themes. The way it keeps fans engaged through a constant stream of news hooks and events is nothing short of extraordinary. For iGaming businesses, it's an expansive crowd of fans hungry for sports-themed content.
With this in mind and our primary focus sharply honed on Latin America, known for its passion for football, this year, we conceptualised and brought to life Penalty Shoot-out: Street. It's an instant game designed to give sports enthusiasts what they yearn for - the essence of football, dynamic gameplay, and a betting feature.
It swiftly climbed and claimed the number 1 spot in the Bet Sum growth pace among all products introduced by Evoplay in 2023. In the Latin American market specifically, Penalty Shoot-out: Street accounts for 60% of Bet Sum, 55% of GGR, 53% of Rounds, and an impressive 70% of Users from the overall traffic across all regions.
What are Evoplay's plans for the rest of the year and upcoming shows you will be attending?
We're looking forward to some major events on the horizon, including G2E, SBC Latin America, and Sigma Malta. These gatherings present fantastic opportunities to connect with industry colleagues and showcase our offerings.
Furthermore, we've been diligently working on securing several licenses, a process initiated at the start of this year. We're awaiting the outcomes, and once these licenses are in place, they will significantly enhance our operational capabilities and market reach.
In addition to this, we've got a few surprises up our sleeves for this year. Our teams have been hard at work, and we'll have some exciting unveilings to present towards the latter part of the year.
